
Juan Carlos Bernardo grew up in Kings Park, New York. Juan Carlos studied at the State University of New York Cortland (SUNY) where he graduated in 1989. He attended the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, CA where he earned a doctorate in Juris Doctorate. Juan Carlos returned to New York in 1999 where he worked in the firm Bendik & Nanos, specializing in immigration matters. In June 2005, he began working with the Stephen Herman. Juan is bilingual English-Spanish and is a member of the New York chapter of AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association).
Mr. Bernardo has tremendous experience in most areas of immigration, such as changes to resident status, consular processing, change of temporary to permanent residence, the court hearings in deportation cases, NACARA, TPS, and more. Mr. Bernardo, a family man himself, knows how to fight for what's important.
